Today I felt like an extra form the great escape when I started the work of fitting a new radiator.
The flooring in this property was a tricky one, as the thin width floor boards where tongue and groove and would not come up without a lot of damage. Luck would have it that there was a large enough void space under neither to crawl through, which made installing the pipework so much easier.
In and under I go and after a lot of huffing and puffing I've crawled to where I need to be … only to find lady luck is with me again. The old radiator pipework has just been capped of which allows me to simple freeze the pipework rather then draining the whole heating system and fit the new pipe work needed.
Job done in half the time !!
